I hope you enjoyed looking through one of my longest blog posts, because after a 19 hour wedding day, Davina and Binh have a huge collection of beautiful wedding photos to remember their day. Their wedding day, shown here, was massive and awesome in every way and by the end of the night I was running on the energy from the guests on the dance floor. Davina and Binh’s wedding day started at 5.30am for Michael the videographer from Chapel Studios and myself. After photographing Davina getting ready at her house, Binh arrived and had to pass a number of games before he was allowed to see Davina for the first time. Next was the Chinese tea ceremony and the love in that 4 x 4 metre room was intense. There were so many hugs and best wishes from everybody, it was just beautiful. The day continued as Davina changed into her gorgeous Christina Rossi wedding dress and said ‘i do’ to Binh at a ceremony in their lovely back garden conducted by celebrant Sandy Meyer. After a great deal of food we headed to the Himeji Gardens in Adelaide’s Parklands for a few bridal portraits then to the Adelaide Town Hall. The reception was held at The Ballroom in Hindmarsh. Beautiful venue with delicious food thanks to Kong Bros Catering and the wedding flowers were created by White Willow Flowers. The evening was such a success. Congratulations to Davina and Binh. I hope you enjoy your honeymoon in May and thank you for having me as your wedding photographer.

Julian Beattie - Fantastic Bentin! Great stuff.

Davina Dhillon - I absolutely love your work Mark and we are so glad we decided to go with you. You worked really well with the videographer and manage to get good shots. :)

Helena Kontis - Amazing photos, what a beautiful bride!

A very beautiful and special thing happened on Erin and Paul’s wedding day. It happened while Erin was getting dressed into her wedding dress. Standing in the lounge with Erin’s father Neil we got talking about daughters. My wife and I have just had a daughter and Neil was walking his daughter down the aisle in less than two hours. Then Neil took his wallet out of his pocket opened it up and pulled out a photograph of Erin when she was just a baby. It was such a beautiful moment and one that I will always remember. I feel connected to all the father of the brides I meet, I am overwhelmed with happiness when I look at my own daughter and I can’t imagine what Neil or any man in his position must feel like walking his daughter down the aisle. I hope I can know that feeling one day.

Thank you Erin and Paul for a wonderful day, I wish you all the happiness in the world. Congratulations on your wedding.
